A private practice built on more than twenty years of emergency medicine, certified training in longevity science, and the conviction that the best medicine is preventive — built patiently, through good habits, holistic care, and the daily choices that quietly shape a life.
— Dr. Stéphane Borreman, MD
For most of his career, Dr. Borreman has treated what emergency rooms catch too late. Eliac was founded to do the opposite work — to understand a life in detail, and to help shape its trajectory long before it becomes urgent.
Protocols grounded in published longevity research and decades of clinical practice — not whatever supplement is trending this quarter.
Cardiovascular, metabolic, cognitive, musculoskeletal, emotional. Health is not a single number. Neither is the work to protect it.
A small panel of patients. Long appointments. Direct access to your physician. Care designed around the conversation, not the clock.
"The interesting question is never what's wrong today — it's what we can influence today so that nothing will be wrong in twenty years."
A Canadian board-certified physician based in Montréal, Dr. Borreman trained at McGill University and has spent more than twenty years in frontline emergency medicine — two decades at the McGill University Health Centre and across Quebec, treating in real time the conditions that begin decades before they reach an emergency room.
He is a graduate of the Geneva College of Longevity Science, where he earned his Certification in Longevity Medicine, and remains an active member of the GCLS Global Longevity Physician Network — bringing the most current evidence-based protocols in preventive and longevity medicine into a private practice built around long-term patient relationships.
Longevity is not theoretical work for Dr. Borreman. For more than a decade, he has applied its principles in his own life — training, nutrition, sleep, recovery, and the small daily disciplines that quietly compound over time — refining his own protocols notch by notch on the same evidence he brings to his patients.
Eliac Medical is where decades of bedside judgement, rigorous strategic thinking, and the science of longevity come together — to help accomplished people invest in their health with the same seriousness they bring to the rest of their lives.
More than two decades practising emergency medicine — at the McGill University Health Centre and across Quebec — taught Dr. Borreman how the conditions that present at 4 p.m. on a Tuesday almost always began years, sometimes decades, earlier. Eliac was founded to do that earlier work.
Eliac is a concierge practice. We work with a deliberately small number of individuals and families under a long-term relationship, not visit-by-visit.
A comprehensive assessment — history, advanced laboratory work, cardiovascular and metabolic imaging, cognitive and functional testing — synthesised into a written longevity plan you own for life.
Ongoing primary care with direct physician access, quarterly check-ins, annual re-baselining, and coordination across the specialists in your life. No waiting rooms. No portals between you and your doctor.
For founders, executives, and senior operators — pre-trip medicals, recovery and sleep optimisation, cognitive performance reviews, and concierge access during critical periods.
When something does go wrong, we stay involved. Coordinating specialists, second opinions, surgical timing, and the quiet logistical work of getting the right care from our healthcare system.
A confidential conversation to understand what you are looking for, your history, and whether the practice is the right fit for both sides.
Comprehensive workup over a small number of focused appointments — labs, imaging, functional and cognitive assessments.
A written longevity plan — what we have learned, what we will protect, what we will change, and the specific protocols we will follow together.
Quarterly check-ins, ongoing access, annual re-baselining, and coordinated care across the specialists in your life.
"Middle age decides old age. The work is not to add years — it is to preserve the capacity to live them."Dr. Stéphane Borreman
Eliac admits a small number of new patients each year. We prioritise individuals and families who want a serious, long-term relationship with a physician who knows them — not a single annual checkup.
If you would like to begin a conversation about whether the practice might be a fit, we would be glad to hear from you.
Dr. Borreman writes and speaks on healthspan, preventive medicine, and the operational realities of healthcare systems. He also advises a small number of organisations — including prior strategic work with McKinsey & Company — on the design of health and longevity programs.
